Czech Language Courses

Knowledge of the Czech language will simplify communication with authorities, potential employers, or customers, and will also help you engage in cultural life and make Czech friends. If you have children, knowing Czech will allow you to actively support them in their schoolwork. Additionally, it is one of the requirements for obtaining permanent residency and Czech citizenship.

ICP and other non-profit organizations offer Czech language courses for beginners, intermediate, and advanced students, as well as professional language courses that are essential for improving your job prospects. These courses are sometimes free or available for a small fee. You can attend courses regularly or choose the so-called low-threshold courses attended occasionally, whenever it suits you.

If you cannot attend a course in person, you can also use free online and video courses provided by the Center for Integration of Foreigners or META:
